Who doesn’t have goals? Every person has goals that he or she wants to achieve, whether they are long term goals or short term goals. Being a student at Year Up made me realize the importance of setting goals for myself. Goals are not just a dream that I go after, but they are check points for different chapters of my life.

One of the goals that I have during Learning and Development phase is to complete each class with 100 percent effort. I mean, who wants to regret later on? I know I am going to finish this rigorous program, why not give all that I have? I am a very strong will person. I have been waiting for this opportunity and I plan to take full advantage of this program. After the Learning and Development phase, I look forward to having a successful internship as the first step in building my career. In order to achieve my goals, I plan to be the best at what I do and help my colleagues along the way. I do not believe the phase “it’s lonely at the top”. I believe in helping each other and networking with professional in my field.

I have set many goals during and after Year Up. Although I am unsure about my exact plan, I will dedicate extra effort to get to where I want to be. I can be that person who comes in early and leaves late. Time will tell, until then, let me think more about goals… My goals…
